In 2002 Elekeiroz continued with its Quality Policy by investing in modernization and enhancement of productive processes, management systems, instruction and training for collaborators. As a result, in addition to our products, we deliver values that add competitiveness to the businesses of our customers.

We have ISO 9001 (1994 version) certification for our Polyester Resins and Maleic Anhydride lines, and we are in the process of earning certification for the Plasticizers while also adapting the previous certificates to the much stricter standards of the ISO 2000 version of the system, wich will represent an additional warranty of service quality for our customers.

The fact that we receive awards and distinctions from customers corroborates our initiatives and efforts in this field. One of the largest manufactures of bodies of buses has named Elekeiroz as its best supplier in 2002, in view of its requirements of product quality/performance, flexibility in doing business, speed and technical support. Another highlight was certification by Abrapoli (Brazilian Association of Resins Producers), in acknowledgement of Elekeiroz for our strict observation of legal and ethical precepts in business, and for our quality products and initiatives in the fields of environmental conservation, safety and health in line with Abrapoli´s requirements fir such certification.

Also in 2002 we took the first steps for Ciquine customers to enjoy the same standards of service as Elekeiroz customers. The complementary relation between the products of the two companies and the different geographical location of their plants enables us to deploy more efficient and economic logistics, thus benefiting all Elekeiroz stakeholders
